Many Kenyans know Lilian Ng’ang’a as the beautiful second wife of Machakos county governor Mr Alfred Mutua. On a number of times, she has received a huge backlash from social media users who think that as the wife of a governor, she needs to outfit decently and not reveal acres of flesh. Nevertheless, the fierce lass has shut down her haters and told off those who are quite uncomfortable with her posts. What many people do not know is that the former Machakos county’s first lady is a very intelligent lady who best defines beauty with brains. Lilian Nganga was born on 22nd June 1985 and is currently 37 years old.

Education Background

In an earlier conference with Eve woman, the lady revealed that she grew up in the village and would regularly attend school barefoot. She performed pretty well in primary school and got the opportunity to join Thogotho Girls High School, Kiambu county. After finishing high school, she joined the University of Nairobi for a course in the front office, tourism, and hospitality.

Later on, she graduated from the Jomo Kenyatta University of Science and Technology (JKUAT) with a Masters’s degree in Science in Project Management. 

Career

The 37-year-old was fortunate enough to get a project at the Safari Park Hotel, one of the most magnificent and biggest hotels in the country.

After one year of working with Safari Park, she left and joined Kenya Airways. She served at Kenya Airways for another six years.

Having the attention coupled with confidence-key ingredients if you are to succeed on the air runway, she later ventured into the world of modelling. She further started a beauty parlor around the same period. Nevertheless, the modeling industry proved so challenging for her, and she gave up with the business a few months later and further closed down the beauty parlor.

The determined woman then decided to venture into the travel business and started her tour business. This venture proved highly successful, and she owns the travel company to date, something she says is apparently due to the course she undertook at the university.

Philanthropy

The Machakos former first lady is known for spearheading a cancer awareness program in the entire county. This has seen thousands of residents living in Machakos receive cancer screening. 

Ng’ang’a additionally heads a Children’s welfare program that has supported a number of children in homes. The charity program has paid school fees for more than 200 children and provided beds, mattresses among others.

She additionally registered the Lilian Ng’ang’a foundation in an effort to help the girls in the county have entrance to sanitary towels. By early 2017, they had donated more than 3,000 free sanitary towels and underwear to school-going girls. 

Marriage

Lilian met Machakos governor Alfred Mutua back in 2011, and the two began a closer friendship. The friendship bloomed into love, and the two tied the knot later. Together They are blessed with one daughter, but the governor equally has other children from his first marriage. She later moved in and is dating musician Juliani.

The relationship between governor Alfred Mutua and Lilian came to a halt, making an end to what many considered like a fairytale union. The previous Machakos First lady took to social media accounts to share the news of the breakup.

The only constant in life is changing, and we must be present and aware to appreciate and embrace it. The winds of change blew my way, and two months ago, I decided to end the long-term relationship with Dr Alfred Mutua.
