- Click the “Activate New Account” button.

The SMS code which I will provide is applicable to only Nigeria, and Service charges Apply. If you are looking for the SMS code for your country, do visit the GoTv website and choose your country.
To activate GoTv for the first time through SMS, you have to use this SMS format.
- Type the following in the form of SMS and send it to your country code. Type in ACCEPT IUC number name* phone number* Location*GoTv package# and then send to 4688.

You have to simply call the GOTV customer service hotline on 08039044688. Your GOTV IUC number will be needed.
HOW TO CHECK IF ACTIVATION WAS SUCCESSFUL
The only way I know you can check if Activation was successful is through the online services. To verify in case your GoTv activation becomes a success, follow the steps:
- Goto the GoTv Eazy website.
- Click on the Activation fame tab on the Dashboard.
- Input your IUC Number.
- Click the “take a look at Activation status” Button.
If it indicates “active,” Congratulations your decoder is successful Active.
