Donald John Trump was born in Queens, New York on June 14, 1946, to Frederick and Mary Trump. Frederick was a real estate developer, while Mary was a socialite and philanthropist. Donald was one of five children and was known to be a lively and self-assured child. The family’s wealth grew during the postwar real estate boom of the 1950s.
